People with cognitive impairments resulting from stroke, mild dementia, or other diagnoses may have difficulty remembering directions and finding their way around. AT Sciences is working on a navigation assistant based on a wheeled walker. The navigation assistant will be able to determine the user's location in a familiar building and provide directions to a desired location.
